STORIES SET IN NATURE

Many of our stories are set in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, in the southern part of Africa.

The Okavango Delta is a UNESCO-protected wildlife area where the water from the Okavango River spills into the Kalahari desert. The water brings with it a myriad of wildlife, surviving and sometimes thriving in a unique habitat.

BEAUTIFUL OKAVANGO

The inspiration for the first two stories were things I used to say to my own children when they were little.

Combining comforting words with giving them an appreciation for the beauty of nature turned into The Best Thing To Be and Circle of Protection.

Now they are able to appreciate the beauty of nature for themselves.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT OUR STORIES

The Best Thing To Be is so stunning. I love the natural science lesson on all the stunning birds, as well as a story with such a sweet fundamental lesson. So beautiful! And the illustrations are breath taking. Could go on and on. And lovely humour too, with the wink at the end. My son loved it! Proof - pudding - eaten. Well done, I am a fan and want to see the others.
