CHILDREN'S STORIES WITH A POSITIVE MESSAGE
In confusing and sometimes challenging times our goal is to bring forth stories that offer positive messages, comfort, inspiration and entertainment to children, and the people who read the stories with them.
Deborah Dixon
A woman who writes children's stories, Deborah was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Africa before moving to the Middle East.
She lives with her two children, two cats, and her husband, who always has one more amazing adventure to recount about his life growing up in the Okavango Delta.
Julia Townsend
Julia Townsend is an abstract artist and illustrator/author. She was born and raised in the US, and later spent twenty years teaching and exhibiting in Europe and the Middle East. She now lives with her husband in an old peanut mill turned gallery and frame shop in Eastern North Carolina.
She wrote and illustrated Zeynep, the Seagull of Galata Tower, another story about a bird who learns a life lesson. Find out more at www.juliatownsend.com
STORY REVIEWS
What a beautiful, special and important book. I read it to my nephews and was grateful to have the opportunity to let them know - through your book - that they are both special exactly as they are and they do not need to change in any way. An added bonus was that we all improved our bird knowledge. I look forward to meeting Stanley again.
